Commitment to diverse panels

I am committed to participating in diverse and inclusive panel discussions and interviews. This commitment reflects my belief that the best conversations happen when multiple perspectives are represented. I respectfully request that event organizers ensure diversity across various dimensions among the speakers:

  • People of different genders and gender identities
  • People with disabilities
  • People of different ethnic backgrounds
  • People of different social backgrounds
  • People of different ages
  • People with varied professional experiences

What Drives Me

People are diverse in their needs and abilities. Digital accessibility, usability and user experience together make services and products available to everyone. It expands the target audience, improves the user experience, and strengthens the brand in the long term. Organizations that prioritize accessibility demonstrate that they take their customers and all employees seriously.

I view accessibility as a fundamental human right. I am committed to ensuring that people with disabilities have full access to digital products and services. It is important to me that they have a user experience that is at least equivalent to – and as good as possible – that of others.

My experience shows that diverse teams foster innovation, quality, and a positive work environment. I prefer to work with people from diverse backgrounds, with different health conditions, ways of thinking, age groups, genders, and identities.

I particularly enjoy working in and with teams led by people with disabilities and/or queer people.
